Robert McCloud is President and CEO of The McCloud Group and founder of the firm’s non-profit organization, the McCloud Cares Foundation.
Prior to founding The McCloud Group, Robert held executive roles at multiple Fortune 500 companies driving growth and profitability strategies and new business opportunities.
Robert tapped into his entrepreneurial spirit and love for the construction industry in 2002 when he opened the doors of The McCloud Group’s Manhattan office, followed by its Hoboken, NJ and Bridgeport, CT offices.
Under his leadership, The McCloud Group is an award winning firm that has worked for top public and private organizations such as the New York City School Construction Authority, The City University of New York, New York City Department of Design and Construction, and numerous municipalities in Connecticut and New Jersey for nearly two decades.
Having specialized in building educational institutions, Robert is passionate about creating spaces that allow children to envision and pursue the life of their dreams. This passion coupled with his commitment to giving back to the communities in which his firm operates inspired him to create the McCloud Cares Foundation. The organization seeks to advocate for and give back to children and families facing economic and developmental challenges.
As founder of the McCloud Cares Foundation, Robert oversees the organization’s strategic direction, public and private sector partnerships and community impact goals.
